The Bulls have a taxing decision to make if they want to run this back

According to the Bulls front office, chairman Jerry Reinsdorf and his son, Michael, would go into luxury tax territory if the feeling was the Bulls were ready to compete in the Eastern Conference. Bringing back the pieces Arturas Karnisovas wants to bring back will likely test that theory.

The message from Bulls ownership to executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas is a simple one: Fix it.

Karnisovas and Marc Eversley got the organization back into this mess of mediocrity, and it’s on them to get it out.

According to Karnisovas, he will have the financial backing of the Reinsdorfs to do that.
