Thanks to Andrew Baggarly & co., we have news of the latest churn transactions by the San Francisco Giants and it’s an interesting pair of trades!
The Giants traded RHP Daulton Jefferies to the Pirates for OF Rodolfo Nolasco. They also traded RHP Mitch White traded to the Brewers for cash considerations. Both pitchers were recent DFAs.

I had gotten used to the Giants simply releasing or getting minor league reassignments from some of these guys designated for assignment, but here we have two arms at a point just early enough in the season where some teams out there might see some value in trying to spitshine them into usefulness.
