The Washington Commanders are back in Ashburn today for the second day of rookie mini-camp. Head Coach Dan Quinn spoke to the media before today's practice and gave an update on second-round pick Johnny Newton. He was seen at yesterday's practice wearing a boot on his left foot. Quinn confirmed that this is a new injury to his other foot. Newton played through a Jones fracture during his last season at Illinois and had surgery in January. He will have surgery for a similar injury in his other foot, and Quinn didn't give a timeline for his recovery.
